The 2014 list is now open to nominations.
Nominate someone now, via the online ENTRY FORM
Working less than full time as a top level executive used to be something that was kept hidden or ‘under the radar’. Our Power Part Time List is helping to change the conversation.
Now in its third year, the list aims to bust the myth that part time is just for low-skill jobs. It will showcase the inspiring stories of 50 men and women who exceed profit targets, drive innovation and manage large teams – all whilst working a contract that strikes a healthy balance with the rest of their lives… whether that’s family commitments, running a charity, or writing a novel.
The closing date is 10am on 22 September 2014. The list of winners will be published exclusively in the Financial Times before the end of the year.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Make your nomination nowUse our online entry form to nominate someone you know for the list. You can even nominate yourself. Nominees can be anyone who has a successful career at the top of business whilst working less than a full 5 day week. They can be from a small or a large business – what’s a ‘must’ is an inspiring story.
The judges will assess all entrants against these criteria:
Breaking ground – does the person’s responsibilities challenge the notion that part time hours only suit junior roles?
Success – has the person advanced in their role / achieved significant success since working part time?
Inspiration – is their part time story interesting in its own right and inspirational to others?
Trailblazing – is the person or their business leading the way for others who want to work flexibly, by way of example?
