One in four of us will be experiencing a mental health problem at any one time. Nine in ten people who have experienced a mental health problem have faced negative treatment from others as a result.

The theme for Time to Change Day this year is The power of small and since signing the Time to Change Pledge we have been making changes within our organisation, to secure better mental health support for all our colleagues.

What is the Time to Change Employer Pledge?

By signing the Employer Pledge, we are demonstrating our commitment to change how we think and act about mental health in the workplace and make sure that colleagues who are facing these problems feel supported.

Time to Change is England’s biggest programme to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination and is run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.

What are we doing at LiveWest to help break the silence?

We have developed an action plan which includes initiatives to change how we think and act about mental health problems. These initiatives include an ongoing programme of mental health training, our wellbeing portal and having wellbeing champions within our organisation.
