Lendlease have been talking about the importance of diversity and inclusion for a long time. Today, they are more committed than ever to being a place where everyone can feel able to reach their goals and build a varied and challenging career for the long-term, no matter their situation.
Lendlease embraces differences in thinking, background, culture, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity and other life experiences. They recognise that their people are unique individuals with different experiences and needs, at various stages of their life – and that is just one of the many reasons why Lendlease is a place where people feel supported, accepted and valued.
What their people think and feel about working at Lendlease is important to them. That’s why Lendlease asked a number of employees what diversity and inclusion means to them, and why Lendlease is the place for them to be.

Angela Brennan, Development Project Manager said that Lendlease has “allowed me to be the best I can be” and that it has “allowed me to grow”.
Debbie McLauchlin, Commercial Finance Manager said that Lendlease had “given a massive amount of opportunity working in the construction and development sector” and that at Lendlease “barriers don’t exist”. This highlights the commitment that Lendlease has in ensuring that its employees are supported in their career, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, disability etc…
Rob Heasman, Project Director said that Lendlease “gives everyone the opportunity to be their best”.
Emma McCreeny Breen, Assistant Development Manager said that at Lendlease she is “allowed to be the individual that I am, quirks and all” and that when she comes to work she is coming “to work with my friends”. This shows how great the community is at Lendlease and how for many it is not just a place of work, but also a place where people can meet with both old and new friends.
James Walsh, Finance Business Partner said that Lendlease is a place for him because “it values families” and it “gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my kids”.
Rada Popova, Assistant Development Manager said that Lendlease was “the first company where I felt, from day 1 […], I felt very supported”. This is very important for Lendlease, as employees who feel supported and comfortable being themselves in the workplace can have greater results, for both themselves and for the business, as they are more motivated in their role and their personal lives.
Ian Ronchetti, Operations Director said that he likes the variety of people that he gets to meet and learn about at Lendlease and that on “my most recent project we had some 76 difference nationalities working on 1 project”.
