We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Delivery to join ITV SignPost to drive and manage the successful delivery of all ITV SignPost output. This includes, sign interpreted programming, Signed Stories output and television programme content.
As a the Head of Delivery you will be responsible for the end-to-end production team, including the on-screen presenters, production personnel and the facilities team, to successfully deliver all of SignPost’s media content to the highest quality standard. The role is part of the SignPost management team, so you will contribute to business strategy and, within your area, deliver continuous improvement to production capability and process.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
- Management and operational experience with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- A background in broadcast, operational and media production.
- Ability to see the big picture whilst also having good attention to detail in all aspects of operations management and media production.
- Previous experience setting goals and the ability to clearly communicate these to others and to motivate people to achieve them.
- Extensive stakeholder management with the ability to create and develop strong business relationships both within ITV and external partners.
- Ability to effectively manage organisational change.
- Strong communication skills and an effective team player.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to self-manage, self motivate and prioritise workloads.
- Experience managing and working to approved budgets.
- British Sign Language skills preferred.

Technical Production Specialist

We’re all about pushing the boundaries and being innovative.
We have an opportunity for a Technical Production Specialist to join our Technical Team at ITV SignPost. The technical team operate an extensive variety of technical broadcast and production equipment in and out of studio. As a Technical expert, you will contribute to all aspects of technical production across ITV SignPost’s business areas including broadcast, multimedia and cross platform development.
You will take responsibility for the technical day-to-day studio operation and the production of visually signed content for ITV’s family of channels and other broadcast facilities.
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
- Experience and knowledge of operating/configuring technical equipment in studio to produce quality media for broadcast, app and multimedia platforms.
- Ability to operate / configure / fault find Dalet Amberfin Digital Recording Servers.
- Advanced operation of Adobe CS6 / Creative Cloud on both Mac and PC platforms to create and edit high quality on screen imagery and effects.
- In-depth experience and knowledge of common encoding and media formats.
- The ability to adapt quickly to use new hardware/software and new methods of working.
- Experience of location camera and sound operations
- Extensive Knowledge / Awareness of DPP media delivery standards and Ofcom’s Subtitling, Signing and Audio Description Standards is greatly beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills
- Knowledge/Understanding of British Sign Language is an advantage
