On 17th May every year, people in over 130 countries around the world mark IDAHOBIT – the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia to celebrate diversity and raise awareness of LGBTQ+ rights work worldwide.
 
At BAE Systems, we want every employee to feel respected and supported, able to be themselves and be their best at work. By showing our support for LGBTQ+ colleagues on and around IDAHOBIT, we’re helping to create an environment in which everyone feels they are valued for their difference.
 
Here, Jennifer Osbaldestin, Managing Director, BAE Systems Land UK and Chair of the UK Management Committee at BAE Systems, talks about the importance of IDAHOBIT and explains why having a more inclusive workplace is better for our employees and teams, and better for our business.
