Global standards

Our Code of Conduct universally applies to all employees, including Board members and employees in wholly-owned subsidiaries and controlled joint ventures, across the business. 

Joint ventures not controlled by BAE Systems are encouraged to adopt standards that are substantially equivalent to the Code. Our Advisers are also trained on the Code, its contents and application and our suppliers are expected to adhere to the Supplier Principles – Guidance for Responsible Business.

 

The Code explicitly prohibits bribery and other forms of corruption. Should any employee have any concerns or questions about such issues, further signposting is provided in the Code.  It’s vital to us that employees speak up on issues they are concerned about; we detail how they should do this, and how they won’t face retaliation or negative consequences if they do speak up.
