Financial Services Compensation Scheme Celebrates Diversity!!
An inclusive workplace is an environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, where the talents and skills of different groups and individuals are valued and where productivity and customer service improves because the workforce is happier and more motivated. FSCS has greatly invested in its diversity and inclusion agenda, which will see a programme of work taking place over the forthcoming year and beyond.
Over the last 12 months, we have increased our involvement with a number of programmes to ensure that we are leading by example.
These programmes include:

• 30% Mentoring Club
• Business Disability Forum
• Interbank LGBT Network
Our first Diversity and Inclusion week was on the 27 April 2015. This highly interactive event considered the importance of diversity, the benefits of an inclusive workplace; and how this can help to improve the service we provide. It provided the chance for all FSCS staff to engage with and celebrate our commitment to equality of opportunity. Throughout the week, there were series of workshops and we encouraged everyone to sign up to at least one bite-size session.
