Norton Rose Fulbright has been named as one of the top thirty family-friendly employers in the UK by Working Families, as the work-life balance charity highlighted the law firm for the second consecutive year.
Working Families benchmarks organisations across the UK that lead the way in building family-friendly and flexible workplaces. Public, private and third sector businesses compete annually to gain a place on the list.
Employers were assessed using the Working Families’ benchmark. Flexible and family-friendly policies and practices supporting mothers, fathers, and carers were scored in four key areas:
integration to organisational strategy and culture– examining culture, attitude and how far flexible and family-friendly working practices have become embedded;
policy – reviewing the creation, development, and deployment of flexible and family-friendly working policies;
consistent practice – assessing how well flexible and family-friendly working is supported; and
evidence and statistics – determining the effects of flexible and family-friendly policies on the organisation and its ability to understand those effects.
