Religious Beliefs.

We were thrilled to have a Birmingham St Mary’s stall at Eid in the Park, which took place in Small Heath Park on Tuesday 4th June.

Eid ul-Fitr – which is also called the ‘Festival of Breaking the Fast’ – is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting, and falls on the first day of the month of Shawwal, which is determined by the sighting of the lunar crescent.

Eid in the Park is the largest festival of its kind in Europe, attracting over 100,000 people. We were delighted to be invited to the event and would like to thank everyone who visited our stand to find out more about vital hospice services.
