Welcome to VERCIDA website.
Skip to main contentHere at Diversityjobs & The Big IDEA we recently conducted research to find out which of our clients is leading the charge in tackling the lack of black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) representation in the UK's workforce.
Currently over 60 million people live in the UK, with an estimated 18% identifying themselves from BAME origins. This in turn has created a demand for organisations to be more transparent in their recruitment of employees and their diverse attraction practices. Therefore we have decided to list for you the top 5 companies we have noticed are particularly focused on this BAME when maintaining and attracting new talent.
5. Brighton and Hove City Council
The council supports and encourages employees to join their BAME employee network group and the Black and Minority Ethnic Worker’s Forum, that offers development opportunities, creates support networks and increases awareness of BME cultures and issues.

With an Executive Black Employee network (BEN) supporting black leaders and their BAME employee network, diversity and inclusion are at the centre of American Express.
The Sunday Times have also ranked American Express in the top 25 companies to work for, for the last 3 years in a row.
