The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) have launched a 'So you want to work in…’ video series.
Starting within finance at DCMS, we hear from Ben Stoddart, Senior Finance Business Partner. Ben wanted to be part of the video series to fully explain his role, and to talk about the best parts of his job. For Ben, this would be the diversity of people he works with within the finance profession and outside of it.
As well as being an authoritative and trusted voice, and protecting the taxpayer, Ben wants to dispel the “finance says no” attitude which he feels still exists. Ben and his team are working hard to change the view that finance is a blocker by providing unwavering support to the policy teams that are helping to make Britain the world’s most creative, digital and engaged nation - an exciting place to live, visit and do business.
