Robert has come through Pluss to take part in a work placements in DCH’s scanning department that has been a real success. Robert is now a full time employee with DCH.
Laura Taylor Resourcing Advisor at DCH said: “We approached Pluss at the beginning of this recruitment process as this role was an ideal opportunity to develop our relationship with their customers.
We adjusted the application procedure to ensure that their clients would be able to submit their application in the most appropriate way for their needs. We then worked closely with Robert’s Employment Coach to adapt the selection process to allow Robert to showcase his talents.
The interview questions were unambiguous and straightforward to allow Robert to understand what we were asking him. Robert’s coach also attended the interview to support Robert through the process.”
DCH was a key speaker at the Disability Confident event and awards which were attended by Johnny Mercer MP as guest speaker and enabled guests to hear great practice from partners.
