At Colt, connectivity is at the heart of everything we do; from the way we work with each other, build our strategic alliances and enable our customers with our leading products and services. Why? Because connectivity delivers the moments that really matter, from video calling someone across the globe to enabling businesses to work remotely.
We transform the way the world works through the power of connectivity. We're the network run by people, connectivity runs through all 5,000 of us at Colt. From our volunteer diversity networks to our charity initiatives, we're truly committed to our connections with our local communities and improving inclusion and diversity. We speak over 20 languages and women make up 50% of our executive team - we're the network run by friendly and authentic people.
“Today’s working environment has a responsibility to make sure everyone is represented and included. It’s long been known that there’s a business case for Inclusion & Diversity; however, as an organisation we know it’s more than that.” says Keri Gilder, Colt CEO. “We have long strived to create the Future Network, one that will underpin how the world works, and that can’t be done unless those working towards this mission feel as though they are heard and valued; regardless of their cultural background, gender, sexual orientation, or age. We know that we won’t be successful unless we are steadfastly focused on creating a workplace that is equal for all.”
Our networks offer a chance for employees at Colt to raise awareness and connect with others through events and activities, providing a safe, supportive space. From Network 25, our women’s network, to Pride Matters, our LGBT+ and Allies network, to DAN, our Disability Accessibility Network, and YOUnited, our cross-cultural understanding network.
Our continued work in Inclusion and Diversity has also lead to some great initiatives such as our podcast, The Full Picture. Our first season is all around inclusion and diversity: why is it important? What do I&D statistics actually mean? And, most importantly, what should companies be doing about it?
All of this encompasses why we’re so excited to work with a Specialist Job Board like VERCIDA.com. VERCIDA.com gives jobseekers all the information they need to make an informed decision about whether an employer is the right fit for them and their specific needs. They allow jobseekers to search for jobs using filters that show the work employers are doing internally to promote diversity and inclusion, as well searching for jobs using the traditional search fields such as location, geography and keyword. And every employer advertising a job has their own company profile which highlights their values and inclusive features such as age, belief, gender equality, and LGBT initiatives.
VERCIDA works with over one hundred clients who are committed to creating an inclusive work
environment. If you are an employer and interested in working with VERCIDA to promote your
diversity and inclusion initiatives and attract the best candidates, please email
[email protected] for more information.
Did you know that users who have filled in their profile details are 42 times more likely to get matched with the right employer?
