City College Norwich and Students’ Union supporting Pride!

City College Norwich was once again proud to demonstrate its support for Norwich Pride by flying the rainbow flag over Pride weekend.

For the first time, City College Norwich Students’ Union was officially represented in the Norwich Pride parade, complete with their own Pride-themed banner (pictured).

The incoming Students’ Union President and Deputy President for 2017-18, Luke Mitchell and Erin Eagling, have just completed their A Levels with the College’s Sixth Form Centre and share a commitment to supporting and promoting equality and diversity within the college.

The College’s Principal, Corrienne Peasgood, said:

“Norwich Pride is a fantastic celebration of the City’s LGBT+ community.  At City College Norwich we are proud to have a dynamic, innovative and creative culture brought about through our talented and diverse student and staff community.  We value the opportunity to support this event.”
