Bank of England has launched its African-Caribbean Scholarship programme as a key part of their commitment to attracting and inspiring the best people to join their organisation. Applications are open now.

The scholarship offers financial support to students of Black or Mixed African or Caribbean background who will be starting their undergraduate degree courses at UK universities in the autumn of 2017.

The programme is a great way to experience working in a central bank in a collaborative and inclusive environment. It will provide you with:

  • Up to £30,000 to support living costs during your undergraduate degree
  • Two paid summer internships
  • Mentoring, coaching and support from a member of their team

Bank of England is offering up to three scholarships in 2017 for students from the UK.

The programme is open to students who are eligible to work and study in the UK, with at least 260 UCAS points and a household income of below £50,000. You must be planning to start a full-time undergraduate degree in Autumn 2017.

The scholarship is run in partnership with the Windsor Fellowship. More information about the eligibility criteria and application process can be found on the Windsor Fellowship website.

Application deadline: 26th February, 2017.
