We can't let this crisis define a generation. This health crisis is affecting all of us, but young people’s futures will be defined by the economic crisis that is emerging. The term Covid Generation is being used regularly and we’re terrified the term might be right.
If we are to avoid a generation of young people, especially those of in areas which they are struggling before the crisis, facing long term unemployment then employers, local authorities and charities across the country need to play their part in creating opportunities. And we need the Government to bring these opportunities together in an easily accessible way.
