An insight into ITV Apprentices event
ITV were host to a breakfast event on Tuesday the 9th May to gear up for the launch of their 2017 Apprentice programme.
The event was opened by Anna Collins, Head of People Development at ITV. Anna discussed the importance of creating a diverse environment for all colleagues at ITV as well as presenting the audience with an insight video into ITV’s extensive brand and some exciting projects that are in the pipeline.
Lauren Mollyneaux-Brown, People Development Manager, discussed the success of their existing Apprentice schemes and the different types of offering that ITV has for apprentices where ITV support the Apprentice to secure a role either inside ITV or outside of ITV at the end of the programme if they choose. Typically around 70% of their apprentices have gone on to secure full-time jobs at ITV following their apprenticeship.
The Apprenticeship programmes have now been running at ITV for 8 years and have seen more than 150 apprentices completing the scheme.
Lauren took the lead in the open panel discussion where the audience could pose questions to current apprentices who spoke about their challenges, goals and development during their time at ITV.

- Digital Marketing
- Broadcast Production
- Journalism
The variety of different opportunities that ITV has to offer Apprentices is one of the great entry paths to working in a renowned organisation like ITV, providing the experience and qualifications that can help create the foundation for an Apprentice’s career.
Opportunities are open for applicants at London, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff and Birmingham locations to individuals aged 16 and above.
