Financial Times Recognition: AMEX has been recognised as one of Europe’s most inclusive companies by Financial Times. #20 out of 850.
What is this: The FT surveyed more than 100,000 employees from 15,000 companies. Focus is on diversity of gender, age, ethnicity, disability and sexual orientation in their workforces.
Why is this important: Further grows our brand in this space through affiliation with FT; Unlike other such awards, this is based solely on colleague perception/survey vs a company submission so more powerful in that respect. Doug’s team are working on promoting this.
Confidential: Valuable 500. In partnership with the I&D team, the Disability Council and DAN, AMEX UK will be signing up to the Valuable 500 external pledge. This will be announced in early December, in line with International Day of People With Disabilities. Valuable 500 is a UK based organization focused on elevating the conversation on disability. This required sign off from Steve, Monique, Laureen and Jen so great to see the enterprise level support on this. (This is embargoed until 3rd December but can get you some more info)
