Women at the BBC , Global Women in News and Women in STEM are supportive women’s community networks, which provide a space for women to network and collaborate.
WATB – Women at the BBC is a pan-BBC women’s network that exists to support the career development, wellbeing and progression of women at the BBC. Events include sessions with inspirational women, mental health, networking, meditation and education sessions. Events take place across the BBC.
GWIN – Global Women in News is a networking and development group for women working in News at the BBC, wherever they are based. Launched in 2014 the group has grown and supports women across The BBC News, building confidence, networking and leadership skills, encouraging women to reach their full potential. A mentoring scheme enables leaders of today to support and inspire the leaders of tomorrow.
WISTEM- Women in Science, Technology , Engineering and Maths aims to improve life at work for women supported by D&I and D&E (Design & Engineering). Providing lunch and learn sessions, events, newsletters and a mentoring scheme currently supporting 50 women from across the BBC.
