Every effort is made to support those employees taking paternity leave. If your partner is adopting a child, please speak to a member of the People Department as you will have similar rights. You may be entitled to share all or part of your partner’s time off work to care for your baby (even if your partner does not work for us). This is called “shared parental leave”. This is in addition to your rights below in relation to paternity leave. We will need to discuss with you whether you and your partner are eligible to take this leave.
