Mentally Healthy Workplace at SQA

We are proud at SQA to have invested in a mentally healthy workplace and have established a network of Scottish Mental Health First Aiders across the organisation. We understand the importance of identifying and signposting relevant support for the health, wellbeing and safety of each other and with our team of Scottish Mental Health First Aiders, we provide a non-judgemental, confidential accessible support for all.

As part of our commitment to the Fair Work Framework in enabling fulfilment, respect and effective voice in the workplace, we deliver a series of activities throughout the year to raise awareness of the value of investing in your own “Good Mental Health”, including “Time to Talk” and Mental Health Awareness Week. We also have initiatives such as our Employee Assistance Programme and Optimise, our new interactive platform, to provide practical support and guidance across a range of physical and mental health conditions and personal wellbeing.
