We are committed to being part of and supporting the communities that we are active in. We encourage our people to participate in fundraising events and volunteering is actively encouraged.
We also organise our own activities, including a bi-annual ‘Grosvenor’s Got Talent’ gala, which has previously raised £95k!
Supporting homeless people in London
The Passage is a charity which offers a wide range of services to homeless and vulnerable people in central London.
The Passage is a charity which offers a wide range of services to homeless and vulnerable people in central London. Many of the people who are sleeping on the streets and visit the centre have been through the trauma of losing their homes, perhaps as a result of a relationship breakdown, illness or changes to welfare rights.
The Westminster Foundation has supported The Passage through many initiatives since the early 1990s, and has benefited from Grosvenor people’s volunteering and fundraising efforts, including a bi-annual charity fundraising dinner and talent show.
Westminster Foundation's response to the Covid-19 pandemic
When Covid struck the world changed and made the Foundation's purpose, to provide long-term sustainable help and a solid structure to vulnerable children, families and the communities around them, even more relevant.
Assisted by Grosvenor businesses, the Westminster Foundation has been working hard to help families and young people affected by the pandemic and support the incredible people who have been keeping us all safe and well.
Since March, they have made £12.5m of funding available to charity and community organisations tackling the repercussions of Coronavirus. You can find out more in the video below and on the Westminster Foundation website.
