Mental Health Support at SSRO

The SSRO has always recognised that our team’s mental health is as important to us and them as their physical health. We ensure that staff who may be suffering from mental health challenges are supported.

We have invested in training our HR Manager, Ruaidhri, to be able to provide Mental First at Work by an accredited course by MFHA England.

“I have experienced challenges with depression over the years and have grown to understand and appreciated that difficulties that we can all face with mental health. I have been wonderfully supported with these whilst at the SSRO and am determined that as an organisation we continue to do everything we can to support our colleagues during difficult periods”.

In addition to our mental first aider we give all staff access to our confidential employee assistance program which gives access to a 24/7 helpline and up to 6 face to face sessions with a qualified counsellor.
