Our Family Network currently has around 1,400 members. It is here for everyone, no matter what your family looks like. Whether you’re a parent, a carer, a grandparent, or sibling. Whether you’re a child, you’re extended family or an honorary family member. And with every shape and size of family, comes responsibilities, obligations and concerns. We aim to make everyone feel comfortable sharing their experiences and insights, to help change perceptions of traditional family and gender roles, and to enable everyone to be their best at work.
What do we do?
The Capita Family Network provides a supportive community and safe space where colleagues can discuss all aspects of family life. They can share their own experiences, ask for help from others and make suggestions for change within Capita to support families further.
Meet the team
The Family Network is sponsored by Claire Denton and Sunil Shah. We have Faye Coleridge as our Network Chair, alongside our two Co-Chairs, Katy Clarke and Sam Petrie.
“It’s an absolute pleasure to lead a talented and passionate committee for the Family Network. We’ve been able to build a strong community and drive real change with the introduction of our global Parental Partners scheme – the scheme designed to support anyone taking parental leave in the lead up to, during and transition back into work from leave. To have an idea and see it come to fruition with an actual company policy and total buy-in at all levels of leadership, is such a motivation to continue identifying opportunities that can have a real impact on our colleagues.”
Faye Coleridge, Chair of the Family Network
