Balance at Haymarket

Haymarket’s Balance network meets regularly to discuss issues relating to gender equality, flexible and hybrid working and support for working parents and carers. Balance meets monthly to discuss ways to support our colleagues to be their best at work, signpost parents and carers to external support and generally provide a safe space to discuss issues.

We want to support our people to balance their personal and professional lives and we believe our range of benefits encourages this. We feel that nothing beats face-time with our colleagues and we’ve therefore adopted a blended working model where full time employees can expect to spend 3 days of their week in the office and the other 2 working at a location of their choice.

Additionally we operate with ‘core hours’ which are between 11am-3pm. Around these times you are able to flex your start and finish times between 7am and 7pm.

Our family friendly policies are designed to be supportive of working parents and carers and our maternity and adoption support programme is designed to guide parents through the journey both before and after their child arrives.
