The MOD offers a range of working patterns and support for parents and carers. We understand how important flexibility and choice is for parents and carers. Many of our roles, subject to business needs, offer a blend of home and office working and alternative working patterns such as part-time, job-shares and term-time.

We have working parents and carers networks where colleagues can come together for support and to amplify the voices of these groups to the senior leadership team. We are members of Employers For Carers, providing free access to training and specialise advice for carers and their line managers.
