Green Team at Moneysupermarket Group

Supporting our colleagues in adopting environmentally sustainable habits

The Green Team aims to help the environment and make our offices more green. During the first half of 2020 we completed an annual assessment to confirm that we fully offset our 2019 carbon emissions, and we took part in further green initiatives to obtain ‘Beyond Carbon Neutral’ status. There's also a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel where colleagues from across the Group can share ideas to support our environmental ambitions.

Tech Zero

As a founding member of the Tech Zero taskforce, Moneysupermarket Group is now part of the largest global alliance racing to halve emissions by 2030. We look forward to working together with other member companies to fight the climate crisis.

By Joining Tech Zero we commit to measure our scope 1-3 emissions and set ambitious net zero targets by the end of 2021. 

We also commit to:

• Publish more details about how we plan to reach net zero by the end of 2021, or within a year of joining Tech Zero, including setting a net zero target date, and an interim target(s).
• Appoint a member of the executive team to be responsible and accountable for our net zero target.
• Communicate climate commitments in other meaningful ways, including to customers.
• Report progress on short and medium term targets to our Board annually, and on our website.
