The MOD is committed to achieving Gender Equality in the workplace. Our Defence Women’s Network exists to encourage discussion and exploration of gender and equality issues. The MOD are signatories to the Women in Defence UK charter to support their aim of equity of opportunity for all who work in Defence. Our Transgender, Non-Binary, Intersex and Gender Diverse policy ensures we are inclusive to everyone and can offer dedicated support to anyone transitioning. We are passionate about supporting colleagues who are experiencing menopause. We have created a detailed policy and guidance for everyone who is affected by menopause, including guidance for managers on supporting colleagues.
