Whether you're just leaving school or looking for a complete career change, an apprenticeship could be a great route for you and all of our apprentices receive a permanent contract!
Veolia has signed up to ban the box, increasing opportunities for people with convictions, as we do not ask candidates to declare their convictions on the application form or throughout the recruitment process.
Further to this, we have recently launched a new programme called Sustainable Futures which aims to help ex-offenders with their transition into a role that is appropriate for them and us and will give them a career where they’re able to thrive.
As we are based largely within the communities in which we work, community outreach is so important to us and where possible we look to hire colleagues who represent these communities and we also engage with local schools, projects and activities too.
We support ex-Armed Forces with their transition into a new role with us from their military careers. We also hold a gold award from the Armed Forces Covenant and support reservists with 10 full paid days leave.
