Travelport has formalized a group of internal DEI ambassadors to support the Global Diversity Council’s mission and provide an on-going sound board for transparent feedback regarding strategic DEI objectives within the organization. Travelport’s DEI ambassadors also collaborate with the People team to help increase awareness and educate employees about individual cultures and practices.
Travelport recently conducted a voluntary employee survey with an 81% response rate across its nearly 2,300 global employees to identify the various backgrounds and identities that make-up our workforce. The results of our ‘Count Me In’ survey create our benchmark to ensure we’re continually acquiring and retaining diverse talent across all areas of our business – and results will soon be shared externally.
Travelport’s Global Diversity Council mission is to remove inequity and bias from our key processes and day to day interactions, both internally and externally, to enable us to become a truly diverse workforce and an inclusive place to work.
