Welcome to VERCIDA website.
Skip to main contentAnnual research from STEM Returners (The STEM Returners Index) shows the challenges people face when trying to return to work following a career break, with recruitment bias shown to be the main barrier to entry. It also shows women trying to return to industry are more likely to experience recruitment bias than men.
STEM Returners’ programmes aim to eliminate these barriers by giving candidates real work experience and mentoring during their placement, as well as supporting them to seamlessly adjust to life back in work.
Thales in the UK has teamed up with STEM Returners for a second time to continue their drive to help engineers return to work after a career break.
Today, many are looking at alternative ways to shape their career and see value in getting a more hands-on learning experience, while gaining skills in the workplace. So it’s no wonder that apprenticeships have grown increasingly popular. But why Thales in the UK?
Thales offer a wide range of programmes, across all levels and regions of the UK, from Engineering, Cyber, Project Management, Procurement, HR and Data. It doesn’t matter whether you are a school leaver or an experienced professional, our options range between a Level 2 to a Level 7 so there’s something for everyone.
Thales apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn directly from industry experts, all whilst being fully employed.
