The aims of the Women at Tesco Bank Network is to make a positive contribution towards Tesco Bank being a great place to work and inspire members to be the best they can be.

Our colleagues are at the heart of our business and are integral to our success and establishing a better gender balance at all levels of our business is important in the creation of a truly diverse and inclusive workforce in order to help us to achieve that. 

An important step made towards improving the gender balance in senior roles last year was the signing of the HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter by Tesco Bank. 

As part of our commitment to the Charter, we will ensure that: 

• One-third of our Executive Committee members will be women by end of 2020. 
•  One-third of our Directors will be women by end of 2022. 
• One-third of our Board will be women by end of 2020. 

Women in Banking and Finance 

Tesco Bank are also active members of Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF), who are a forward-looking membership organisation for finance and banking professionals looking to achieve their full career potential, helping to bolster female contribution to the industry along the way. It provides members the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people, broaden their networks, stretch and enrich their skills and experience, and most importantly, have fun.
