The Manchester Theatre Awards are the biggest and brightest regional theatre awards event for the annual celebration of theatre from around the region.
The awards—the most important theatrical prize-giving outside London—have been a major fixture on the North West entertainment calendar since 1981 and an important shop window for all that is best in local theatre.
With the enthusiastic backing of the Greater Manchester theatres, an 11-strong panel of some of the most experienced critics in the country, continues an initiative first created by the Manchester Evening News.
The awards continue to celebrate the great work that goes on every year in Manchester.
