Training, Welfare and Development at Capita

We want to ensure all our colleagues are cared for and supported in the way that works best for them. This could be through flexible or remote working, support during apprenticeships and higher education courses, mentoring programmes or providing services to help improve mental health and welfare. We already have several initiatives in place, with more to follow, including continuing to be part of the 30% Club’s Senior Women’s Mentoring Programme, the RISE development programme for underrepresented groups and training volunteer staff to become Mental Health First Aiders and Wellbeing Champions across the business.

Learning and development

All our colleagues have access to Capita Academy. This an online hub with learning and development content including mandatory and external training courses and access to our development programmes. We also have My Compass, which helps to assess current knowledge and skills and suggest learning so that colleagues can develop in their roles and move forwards in the right direction.

We have the Manager Passport programme with three levels of learning to help managers gain the skills, behaviours and competencies to perform well.
