Corporate Social Responsibility at Investec

Our desire to make a meaningful contribution to the world we live in is at the heart of our values at Investec. Making an unselfish contribution to society, nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit, embracing diversity, and respecting others, underpin our aim to be a responsible corporate citizen.

In the UK, we deliver targeted programmes with community partners and through the active volunteering of our people, focusing on three main areas – entrepreneurship, education and the environment. In the year 2019/2020 our UK employees have volunteered more than 3,210 hours.

Our social enterprise incubation programme, Investec Beyond Business, has launched 47 social enterprises since 2011, creating more than 300 jobs in east London. Our education programmes aim to drive social mobility for local young people through the development of life, employability and interpersonal skills. Finally, our multi-award-winning environmental programme focuses on reducing our environmental footprint, promoting positive behaviour through education, reconnecting communities with nature and preserving biodiversity.
