Closing the Gender Pay Gap at Travelport

Women have historically been under-represented in the technology and travel sectors. That is why gender is one lens of diversity that Travelport’s Global Diversity Council (GDC) is focused on as we embed parity across our business and the industries we support.

At Travelport, we actively seek out local partnerships that are dedicated to elevating and mobilizing women in technology and many of our IT leaders volunteer their time to mentor other women looking to grow in their STEM careers.

Our employees have created an entire travel education curriculum to upskill emerging talent coming from outside of the travel industry. The curriculum helps to elevate travel as an attractive industry for young women professionals by highlighting opportunities to expand their talent, advance their skillsets and achieve success.

When it comes to supporting women advancing their careers within Travelport, we effectively maintain an equalized balance of both women and men participating in our leadership development program designed to better prepare employees for leadership opportunities in travel and technology.
